WORKING TOGETHER FOR A CLIMATE-FRIENDLY WORKING WORLD
The Netzwerk GrĂ¼ne Arbeitswelt (Green Working World Network) is a partnership-based association of professional players and institutions that deal with the issue of skilled labour in their daily work and offer professional orientation, training and further education in the green working world. BAUM has now also joined as an association of sustainable companies.
Founded in 2017, the network already brings together over 100 stakeholders who are committed to vocational guidance in the green world of work - including companies and associations, schools and extracurricular education providers as well as specialist institutions, vocational schools, technical colleges and universities, but also career guidance providers, trade fair organisers and the media. The project is funded by the National Climate Protection Initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and implemented by four network partners: Wissenschaftsladen Bonn e.V. (WILA Bonn), Bundesverband Nachhaltige Wirtschaft e.V. (BNW), Zeitbild Stiftung and Klimaschutz- und Energieagentur Niedersachen (KEAN).
The network aims to inspire young talent and skilled workers for green jobs and thus make the transition to a sustainable economy viable for the future throughout Germany. To this end, it provides materials on its web portal, publicises career guidance offers, develops training courses and much more.
BAUM is involved with its SDG-Scouts® project.
