CO2MEET: LAST FREE INITIAL CONSULTATIONS UNTIL THE END OF THE PROJECT

The CO2meet project can look back on three successful years in which numerous companies in Germany were supported in reorganizing their business travel management. With free initial consultations, practical webinars and a comprehensive catalogue of measures, CO2meet has helped companies to review their travel policies, identify optimization potential and implement concrete measures to reduce CO2 emissions.

The initial consultations, conducted by telephone, video call or email, offer a quick and precise check of existing travel policies and provide valuable recommendations for a sustainable mobility strategy. Companies benefit from an in-depth analysis of their current practices and receive ideas on how they can make their business travel activities more environmentally friendly through targeted measures. Instead of rigid guidelines, the focus is on a participatory approach, which is supplemented by the use of transparent tools and comparison methods.

"Our initial consultations offer direct added value by helping companies to identify and implement specific savings potential," explains Dieter Brübach, head of project management at CO2meet. "The numerous successful consultations in recent years show that the need for sustainable mobility strategies for business travel is unbroken."

With the successful completion of the CO2meet project in November 2025, a limited number of free initial consultations are now available. Companies wishing to review their travel policies and implement sustainable measures are advised to make an appointment for a consultation as soon as possible.

The results of the project so far show that the implementation of sustainable business travel practices not only leads to a significant reduction in CO2emissions, but also enables economic benefits and increased competitiveness. Positive feedback from previous consultations confirms the high practical relevance and effectiveness of the concept.
