BAUM promotes sustainable mobility that protects the climate, the environment and our resources.
The transport sector is the one that has made no contribution whatsoever to the German government’s climate protection targets in terms of CO₂ reductions. BAUM’s projects are making important contributions here to the development and implementation of new solutions within companies. The focus is on the concept of ‘corporate mobility management’, climate-friendly business travel and the increased use of the climate-friendly bicycle.
BAUM supports companies in making their mobility sustainable. Projects such as CO₂meet promote climate-friendly business travel, whilst the MobilityPolicy guide offers practical recommendations for sustainable corporate mobility management. In addition, BAUM offers quick assessments of fleet and travel policies and certifies bicycle-friendly businesses as ‘FAHRRAD-fit’. Initial consultations help small and medium-sized enterprises in particular to align their mobility strategies in a climate-friendly and efficient manner.
