BAUM Conference 2026

Confiance en Europe – Confidence in Europe.
Mastering risks, seizing opportunities

The BAUM Conference 2026 is more than just a conference. It is a space for solutions, bringing together businesses and leading minds who are actively shaping Europe. Through dialogue with the business community, the political sphere and civil society, we ask: What does a values-based EU single market need – and who is shaping it?

The program will be continuously updated over the next few weeks.

Wednesday, 9 September is all about the BAUM | Environment and Sustainability Award. Look forward to meeting our 5 award winners – nothing will be revealed yet!

Thursday, 10 September sees the Solutions Lab & Inspiration Festival. This won’t be a series of talks where you can just sit back and relax, but rather a structured space for thinking – for anyone who comes with genuine questions and a solid foundation of knowledge, and wants to go home with concrete ideas and new partnerships.

Three thematic blocks. Twelve Pecha Kucha presentations. Followed by a 45-minute ‘solution lab’ session to explore ideas further together.

Venue:

Europa-Park Dome in the Confertainment Center
(directly at the main entrance to Europa-Park theme park)
Europa-Park-Straße 2
77977 Rust

What exactly is holding us back – and what would be the key to truly overcoming sustainability risks and seizing the opportunities that lie ahead?
The second day of the BAUM conference is dedicated to this question, and we are organising it as an interactive workshop. Short presentations in Pecha Kucha style will alternate with solution labs, peer consultation and speed networking. In this way, challenges and ideas will give rise to concrete approaches, collaborations and next steps that will strengthen sustainable business practices in Europe.
