NAFIM – Sustainable financing for SMEs
NAFIM is a concrete, practical offer based on the recommendations of the 2nd Sustainable Finance Advisory Council of the German Federal Government. The NAFIM service center supports SMEs in better understanding sustainable financing and shaping it in cooperation with the financial sector.
NAFIM offers orientation and concrete help in the complex field of sustainable funding and financing so that companies can steer transformation instead of being steered by it.
The interactive and publicly funded platform brings together knowledge, tools, events and practical examples and explains the interrelations in an understandable way.

The NAFIM service center is initially aimed at companies in Hamburg. The pilot project has started here and is being further developed together with and for SMEs. However, much of the content can already be used by companies in other regions.
NAFIM works independently and transparently and does not pursue any commercial interests of its own. Companies, associations and institutions that are interested in working together are welcome to contact the project team.
The NAFIM service center is run by BAUM and the Ministry for the Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture (BUKEA) of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
The NAFIM service center is implemented in partnership with UmweltPartnerschaft Hamburg, Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, Hamburg Chamber of Skilled Crafts, Hamburgische Investitions- und Förderbank, FCH Finance City Hamburg GmbH and the Sustainable Finance Research Group at the University of Hamburg.
